Space Between Design Studio proposed public improvements to the Bishop Arts District in Dallas, Texas including adding pedestrian refuges at crosswalks with gateway features, re-allocating off-street parking to on-street parking as part of a re-configured 7th Street, converting the off-street parking area into a public plaza, and removable bollards at the intersection for the temporary closing of Bishop Avenue to vehicles for pedestrian-only events.
